I'm Theresa Norris, founder of Gig Harbor Self Defense and SafeCulture360. I'm a workplace violence prevention professional dedicated to helping organizations identify risk before it becomes crisis.
My journey into this work began with a simple realization: many organizations focus on response, but few have systems in place to recognize and address concerning behavior before it escalates. I became passionate about understanding the human side of safety and building practical solutions that help leaders make better decisions when it matters most.
To develop that expertise, I trained alongside and learned from professionals in law enforcement, military, behavioral threat assessment, violence prevention, and emergency response disciplines. The programs I deliver are rooted in proven principles and methodologies used by law enforcement agencies, the FBI, Homeland Security, behavioral threat assessment professionals, and crisis management experts.
Today, I work with organizations across healthcare, education, corporate, manufacturing, and contact center environments to build prevention-focused cultures that reduce risk, strengthen reporting pathways, improve decision-making, and empower leaders to act with confidence.
